I have owned it for 23 years in which time it has never been raced i have only ever used it for trail riding. Ten years ago i put a speedo on it and it has clocked up 1500 miles, so i reckon that i have only done about 5000 miles at the most in all the years i have had it. I have made a few alterations over the years such as forks of a 1984 Cr 500 which had the added bonus of a twin leading shoe front brake also it has lifted the front end a little and has transformed the whole ride, its handles great. I have made my own seat,as i did not like the original one which parted company with the bike if you fell off.
